Kolonel Mustard Shoot Feat Gorman Ipanema Boots

Last week Benjamin from KolonelMustard shot some photos for me after a long brunch. Benjamin is known for his sharp suited style blog. Shooting both photos and moving image videos, Benjamin encourages men to be themselves, wear what they love, and not to be afraid to suit up anytime. I personally love his shoe collection, and was amazed by this beautiful camera. My gosh I gotta get onto it and buy a real camera!

While we took these shots, Benjamin attempted to yell out to me, as behind me someone was loudly using a blow-vac to clean the grandstand. I could not stop laughing! I think I was almost over compensating by trying not to laugh in some of these shots. It was quite a funny sight.

I am sooooo in love with these new Ipanema Boots from Gorman. A few weeks ago my best friend and I went in to Gorman to stock up on their amazing wool jumpers in the winter sale, (I wear them everyday they are so warm!) and spotted the Spring Summer Lookbook. Both massive fans of the Gorman boots, we were so excited to see these embroidered Ipanema Boots. I know for sure these will sell out super fast, so I could not leave without them. Crush Festival

 

One of the wonderful things about Adelaide is the incredible wines at our doorstep. I am minutes away from some of the most beautiful wineries in Australia. Last weekend the Adelaide Hills hosted The Crush Wine Festival. Shaw and Smith's Sauv Blanc was my favorite drop. The crisp weather held off the rain, but the clouds put on a glorious show.

This week I started my Design Internship with the Adelaide Fringe, and Secondment at The State Theatre, so I am busy busy and exhausted! Coming home covered in saw dust and paint. Excuse if I choose not to blog that look. Of course, I love it. Day one involved starting a renovation on a 50's Caravan (which had been left in a paddock for quite some time- gosh that was a lot of dirt!) and power tools. My muscles are awake in ways they haven't been in some time! More news to follow. xx Oh and PS, I know these outfit photos are terrible quality, my lovely Dad offered to take them for me, and I am afraid his eyesight is not what it used to be!

I love wearing the apple necklace, and I think I now have every colour in their cut glass heart necklace range... they are so good! Yey for Adelaide based designers, and have a read of their story too, it is amazing.

Have been ridiculously busy in the past week, doing all sorts of things that have been on my to do list for far too long, but have been happy to get through and cross them off! Horrah! Have got all kinds of news, but am not quite ready to let it out yet, perhaps in a day or two when I get some breathing space!

Currently loving:
- My new haircut and Bambi ring (seriously it is so cute, a quick stop into Bauhaus today was so worth it)
- Being inspired and inspiring others
- Practically skipping down the street with giddy glee, just because that's how I am right now
- Talking to people and having amazing conversations
- The cold weather! Yey for coats, gloves, hats, scarves and boots.
- Lumberjack dressing gents. Sigh. Do it! Please! And don't cut your locks.
- The gig's this Saturday night, looking forward to them.
-Listening to the Ramones in the Escort and laughing at long distance bees.
- You reading this. And the lovely comments people have been making on my posts. x

Currently disliking:
- Those nasty rackets I have to face!
- Pretty much everything about the film Red Riding Hood except Amanda Seyfried's costume, although found the Adjustment Bureau more taxing. Seriously though, if there were an Adjustment Bureau they could adjust my life to not have spent time watching those two films and I would be happy with that.
- The prospect of the Israel army coming knocking.

Guard the gates of hell just one more night

So sometimes I "borrow" clothing, while I was living in Perth, I was without "my" beloved Misfits t-shirt for too many years, and now I can, for a little while at least, get around in it...

So that's how I have been kicking it lately.

Between that and smashing back lamingtons... Clarendon Bakery, you guys have been all right my whole life.
