Recently I was invited to visit the new Sussan store at Rundle Place, where Katherine Green, Fashion Director of InStyle Australia, presented key looks and pieces from the AW13 season.
Katherine herself was an elegant woman, bold but beautifully understated. She was down to earth, and demonstrated that she clearly understands what women of Australia want.

For Autumn Winter Sussan is celebrating colour and comfort by embracing bright, smart casual and easily wearable clothing. There were plenty of great knits, leggings, patterned jeans, soft shirts, coats, capes, and scarves to choose from. With great price points and sale deals, if you need some basics, staples and key pieces (who doesn't?) go take a look. Sussan stock so many staple pieces to add to any wardrobe. I ended up with a soft, perfect chambray/ shirt which actually, I am wearing right now. I can work that into my wardrobe in so many ways, I will be sure to get sick of it.
But this is what classics are all about right?

The new Rundle Place store also boasts a Styling Suite in which you can also have a free one hour styling session with an in store stylist. Book in store or by emailing adelaidestylist@sussan.com.au
If I had no idea what to wear for my figure or style I would be lost. I think finding that extra confidence and understanding is important and that is what their stylists are all about.

The store has a bright layout, complete with furnishings in bold, block colours. My favourite touch? Well known for feminine, fun, comfortable sleep ware, the store embraces this with a mini multilayered bed set up that pays homage to the fairy tale of The Princess and the Pea. Sweet.

  3. Holy shit Sussan has changed for the best! LOVE the new look! I was pleasantly surprised when I went in there about 2 years ago looking for a dressing gown for mum - even their PJs were awesome! Might have to start popping my head in more often :-D
