Happy Bastille Weekend!

I know I have posted some of these pictures up before, but I just wanted to re-share and wish you all a happy Bastille Weekend! Gen and I had a blast in Nice for Bastille Weekend last year, it was so beautiful, fun and unexpected. We loved getting into the spirit and dressing in blue, red and white like nerds! The foreshore fireworks and parties were amazing. Wish I were back there this weekend! Much love, Nell. xx
Also this is my 200th post! So it seems okay to reminisce a little.

Insta-week, Chanel and Musical Frogs

1. Painting in the afternoon. The first girl turned out looking cold, so I made sure to give the next one a wool-y jumper.

2. Karen Walker rings to replace my now dead wear everyday horseshoe ring. A ring rant to follow!

3. My house sitting entertainment pack.

4. Time to hang up my Cabaret lanyard. Sad.

5. The first ever art purchase I made back in 1996. Dragged my parents to an art exhibition at age 13 have been inspired by these water colours ever since.

6. Rocking out at lunch (?) with Emma Craig in Alice McCall and Zac Posen. Perth cafes. Le Sigh.

7. Emma and I discovering the new Chanel store being kitted out in Perth. King Street... oh. Emma in Lisa Ho (and Chanel glasses. Snap!)

8. Irene at Zest, keeping me grounded on a Sunday. x

9. Talon Moss's install at Zekka, big love woman!

10. 8 something in the morning on King Street. Wearing Zac Posen Blazer, Sass and Bide T, Camilla and Marc jeans, Sass and Bide clutch and Windsor and Smith brogues from Littlest Vintage.

11, 12, 13. Up to the usual antics of two ex- actors, with Reece Scott at Cantina. Cheeky grin.

I love my Perth Family!

I headed to Perth to see my favorite Caleb Vines perform as J Pierrepont Finch in the WAAPA production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Directed by the amazing Jason Langley, the show was brilliant, and I may be a little biased, but Caleb was incredible. Finch is so him, from the cute sideways charming smiles, to positive can-do-anything attitude. From the get go I was watching like a proud sister. Seeing him on billboards and posters around the city was pretty cool. I did a little "Caleb!" joyful clap as I spotted them!

I managed to catch up with some of my Perth family, some for the first time since Prague last year. Swapping stories and being back talking in our own nonsensical language is just so much fun. It sorta kills me that I am so far from them, so I think I will head over a bit more this year when I am between design projects.
Hope you are all having a great weekend. xx

On a glorious sunny warm Autumn day, I am well aware that it will not last. So I am soaking it up, just like Summer in Dubrovnik last year. I hadn't shared any pictures yet, so it seemed like a good time. I manged to take a lot of photos in Croatia, but I wasn't in any. My lovely travel companion David was, ha ha, I kept taking pictures as we were walking, there were some funny ones. I loved the colours of the Old Town, the beautiful water, the cool stone, and the terracotta tiles. Cool cottons, leather sandals and a little top knot were my go to looks while we stayed. I loved this town, it may have been a little tourist heavy, the streets were WELL worn, but at the end of the day, it was just a great place to explore. Oh and the Maritime Museum, is soooo cool! Loved it!
