Call Her Green and the Winters Cannot Fade Her
Green.
For some: Tranquility, hope, luck, good, healthy earth Chi.
For me: Growth, renewal, generosity, hope, freshness, sharing and releasing subconscious inhibitions and limitations.
Feeling very inspired and happy to bask in the beautiful days of summer, I embarked on a drive through our local area. Our summers can be very dry, but our hills are green, lush, magical and generous. This vintage jacket comes out of my closet during moments of infectious effervescence. For every plus there is a minus, and there are many negative associations with the colour green, such as envy and financial wealth (and henceforth an investment in those values), for me though it is vital to maintain these in balance. I would prefer the scales to tip on the side of positivity than the other way, as that path, is not one which I wish to follow.
Currently loving photography by Lauren Dukoff, LA based photographer who often shoots rock stars, horses and recently published "Family", which I would love to get my hands on. Particularly this image... which is beyond amazing.
Pictured: Green Vintage embroidered Chinese jacket, Witchery leggings, Bardot top, Wittner Wedge boots and Chinese paper parasol.
Little Green, be a gypsy dancer...

Ooh love the green pattern. I've always toyed with the idea of wearing a chinese-print dress/top but have yet to find one I like! xx
